Most stress concentrations occur between oxides, point like inclusions, and the matrix. When the stress reaches a sufficiently large value, cracks will appear and rapidly expand and fail.
The lower the plasticity of inclusions, the sharper their shapes, and the greater their stress concentration. The camshaft and bearings are important driving components in the valve mechanism. During use, if the camshaft and bearings are worn, resulting in insufficient engine power, unstable idle speed, and difficulty starting, it will damage the camshaft and bearings. The camshaft bearing is an important component that supports the operation of the camshaft. If severe wear or damage occurs, it will affect the normal operation of the camshaft to varying degrees. Check whether the bearings or bushings are smooth, whether there is shaking, and whether the inner holes of the bushings are severely worn. If possible, install the camshaft in the bearing or bushing (the valve rocker arm is temporarily not installed in the rocker arm bracket).
Before and after tightening the cylinder head nuts, quickly rotate the camshaft and carefully observe whether there are any abnormal phenomena such as shaking when the camshaft rotates. When the rotating speed is relatively high, the Centripetal force of the rolling element in the overturning bearing will expand, and its bearing capacity should be reduced (noise is easy to occur when the speed is fast). For gas pressure rolling bearings, their bearing capacity increases with the increase of the rotational speed ratio.
